REGENCY PROPERTY :: No.61 St Stephens Road is a Grade II Listed Regency property in Cheltenham originally constructed c1830 at the height of Cheltenham’s emergence as a Georgian Spa Town.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We were employed as the main contractor on this project and carried out internal and external renovation and restoration works. In addition to this, the building was extended to increase kitchen and living space as well as creating a subterranean garage.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

As well as restoring the original features of this property modern building technologies and techniques were also employed such as waterproof concrete and basement tanking system.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

CIVIC AWARD FOR VITTORIA HOUSE :: we are delighted to announce that following the completion of restoration works undertaken by Leckhampton Builders, Vittoria House has received a Civic Award for Restoration and Refurbishment.

The extensive programme of works has resulted in many important and historical original features being saved and restored to their former glory. We are extremely proud to have been involved in such a project and to have helped save this beautiful old building.

It is very satisfying to see Vittoria House gain recognition from Cheltenham Civic Society @cheltcivicsoc and highlight it’s importance to the history and development of Cheltenham as a Spa Town.

JOINERY WORKSHOP NEWS :: due to continued expansion we are very excited to have taken delivery of two new Felder woodworking machines at our sister company @leckhampton_joinery

The addition of the Felder CF 741 S Professional Combination Machine & Felder Widebelt Sander FW 950 C will enable us to increase our capacity while still maintaining the exceptionally high standards of finishing we expect to achieve with all of our bespoke pieces of furniture.

With many exciting projects already in the pipeline for 2022 the arrival of these new machines is a great boost to the group going into next year.

CONSTRUCTION NEWS :: Good luck to Alex Runciman our Junior Project Manager who is embarking on his MSC in Construction Project Management at the University of the West of England.

Alex successfully completed a foundation course in Quantity Surveying with RICS last year and will now carry on his studies part-time at the University of the West of England alongside his work with Leckhampton Builders assisting the site management team on one of our major Cotswold renovation projects.
