Leckhampton Group is a proudly family-run business, now in its second generation, with over 30 years’ experience delivering high-end residential building and renovation projects. Based in the heart of the Cotswolds, we’ve built a trusted reputation across Cheltenham, The Cotswolds and beyond for our meticulous attention to detail, thoughtful approach and comprehensive full-service offering.

Our portfolio includes a wide range of luxury new builds and renovations, as well as sensitive restoration and heritage projects, where precision and care are paramount. Our steady, considered growth over the years has allowed us to maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship, whilst delivering an exceptional level of client service.

Generations of Expertise

Leckhampton Group was founded over 40 years ago by Richard Thorne and partner, beginning as a small, highly-skilled construction firm operating from a rural base on the outskirts of Cheltenham. From the outset, the company earned a reputation for its considered approach, exacting standards and refined, high-end finish.

As the business evolved, so too did its capabilities. Today, Leckhampton Group offers a fully integrated, in-house service encompassing complete project management, bespoke joinery, groundworks, and landscaping; ensuring seamless delivery and uncompromising quality at every stage.

Now run by Richard’s three sons, the company remains proudly family-owned and operated, bringing a close-knit, personal ethos to every project. Much of our work comes through word of mouth; a reflection of the longstanding relationships we’ve built and the trust our clients place in us, many of whom return time and time again across multiple projects.

 

Our Teams

Leckhampton Group has grown to encompass three specialist divisions, supported by a dedicated office team who ensure the smooth and efficient coordination of every project. As a full-service contractor, we bring together expertise across our core disciplines: building, bespoke joinery, groundworks and landscaping.

Our in-house teams collaborate seamlessly to deliver a cohesive, finely tuned operation, ensuring every aspect of a project is delivered to the highest of standards, on time and within budget. Overseen by our experienced project managers, this integrated approach allows us to maintain complete control over quality, communication and craftsmanship at every stage.

Whilst we continue to operate from our idyllic rural base on the outskirts of Cheltenham, our reputation sees us commissioned for high-end residential and commercial projects throughout the Cotswolds and further afield.

Safety and Quality

At Leckhampton Group, safety is a core priority, regardless of a project’s scale. From initial planning through to final completion, the wellbeing of our team, clients and their properties is carefully considered at every stage. As such, we carry out regular inspections across all live sites to ensure that the highest standards of health and safety are consistently maintained.

As proud members of the Building Safety Group, our sites are routinely audited as part of an ongoing commitment to best practice. These independent assessments support our continual improvement in risk management, helping us to uphold a safe, secure environment for staff, clients and the wider public.

We are fully insured, holding Public Liability cover of up to £10,000,000, alongside comprehensive Contractors All Risks policies, offering our clients complete peace of mind throughout the duration of every project.
